With money raised by the Spectemur Agendo Foundation, the facilities at 800 University Avenue have undergone substantial renovations. Below is a list and photos of projects completed in 2006:
Main Level
- New oak flooring
- New French doors
- New men’s room installed
- 1st floor ladies room converted to two stalls
- Walls and ceilings repaired and painted
- Grand stairs refinished and supports added
- New furniture purchased
- New carpets placed throughout 1st floor
- New 9-foot pool table placed in pool room
- Custom lighting installed on 1st floor
- New piano purchased for Great Hall
- Wood paneling reconditioned
Exterior
- Façade reconditioned and timbers painted
- Entire property re-landscaped and retaining wall rebuilt
- Front porch replaced with high-tech waterproof tile surface
- Driveway repaired
Lower Level
- Kitchen remodeled and appliances upgraded
- Sixty replicas of original dining room chairs purchased
- New laundry room created
- Basement boiler room enclosed
- Dining room ceiling replaced
